i am all for the enviroment but sometimes need a plastic bag or 2...especially for wet or leaking stuff.So i use both and my judgement.
Regardless of which i have discovered for anyone from perth, that the Fremantle markets sells a great little bag. made from parachute type fabric...very strong and in gorgeous colours. Mine is purple and green.It is half the size of a packet of cigarettes so very small.it is on a key ring so you can attach it to a bag or a belt loop or keys.
You unravel it and it becomes a large shopping/carry bag and because of the fabric you can thread it with your thumb very quickly and easily back into the package again.
Only $10 from the Fremantle markets and it is called ONYA BAGS. When you open it it says "say no to plastic bags" on the front.
