Some travel agents use wholesalers that do some hotels cheaply other travel agents will have other special deals with other wholesalers. You need to pick up a few brochures, decide on the hotel and see which one has it at the best price. Get a taxi from the airport and do not use transfers, do a search on the net for travel insurance. Breakfast is always included at the Melasti. An option is to book only 4 nights with the agent and book the rest yourself over the internet - you will probably get it much cheaper. I stayed in the suites last April and paid around $68 per room. I do not think they charge for one extra child but they do for two. We pay (on average) 1400 per person for 3 weeks in Bali (ex perth) staying at 3-4 star hotels. You should not be paying $6000 even if you are flying ex Brisbane. What airline season are you travelling in - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. If I can be of help let me know.
