I've booked to stay at these two small hotels this September (our 8th trip to Bali).
The Madawi is in Kerobokan (an ideal location) but I haven't found anything on the hotel itself on the Forum. Anyone been?
Again, the Gajah Mina is another small boutique-y hotel, this time on the west coast, just north of Tanah Lot. It had some excellent reports a couple of years back, notably from Priscilla, but anyone been more recently?
We're also trying the brand new Ubud Hanging Gardens (a sister hotel to the fab, uberchic Jimbaran Puri Bali - formerly the Pansea Puri Bali). IT's not due to open till this summer, but we already made a reservation. Will submit a full JBR in due course!
