well, the thongs were certainly the ones you wear on your feet, however, I did see lots of the other thongs in shops this trip.

when I said not rubber ones, I meant they were made out of leather, not the rubbery thongs that you buy in Australia for a couple of $'s

the mobile phones do use the tiny sim cards that just go in the back of your phone, and same as Aus, each new sim card has a mobile number with it, so if you buy a new sim card, you also get a new number. If you are just recharging your sim, you keep your number, you are just putting more credit on it.

little Mataharia in Legian St is closed, but big Matahari in Kuta Square was open and still had the jumbo sales on - don't know how long the sale lasts for though, or if it goes year round.
