You will need to renew her passport. We had to do this for our son on our last Bali trip as he only had 4 months left and we were advised that travel would be a problem because it was not 6 months.
Better to pay the $63 than have it ruin your holiday by not being allowed to travel at all.
This is something you they are pretty strict on and not worth taking chances on.
