A few minutes very interesting walk. You pass the Antonio Blanco art gallery on your right and walk across the restored Dutch colonial suspension bridge to Murni's Warung. http://www.murnis.com/warung/warung.htm
Then either through the road cutting or, better still, up the hill on your right and over the top. You're then at the start of the main street of shops and restaurants.
Or, if you prefer, the Tjampuhan free shuttle bus will take you in or pick you up.
