Finally, a response - I am not a lone voice in the wilderness. Sorry to vent but this was my third message to which I thought no one would again reply. But you did!! Thanks. Yes my hubby is indeed a serious surfer and just uses Jimbaran Bay as the base from which he takes a boat along the coast running parrallel with Jalan Ulawatu from which all of the good surf breaks in Bali can be found (as you would know). He knows a good contact with a boat but he is a bit xxxy. Just trying to see if I could save some 'shopping dollars' for our trip in August. Cheers
