We stayed last March - it is a budget hotel - and you get what you pay for. We went with another couple and were expecting the worst on arrival - it wasn't too bad. Our room was really dark during the day - but we had a little balcony overlooking the owners yard (and rooster)- the bathroom and bedroom were fine. Nothing flash but adequate. Good comfortable beds, no shower curtain so the bathroom floods every time. WE had great air conditioning, a tv. Serviced every day, but we did have a problem getting a bath towell some days - the were very keen to take them but not to bring one back. I had the impression that they had exactly enough for the guests in house- then off to be laundered - so throw in a towell. The grounds are not too well maintained - but is very balinese and has its own charm. The pool was used late into the night and there were a lot of different age groups, from back packers to oldies -no problems. It isn't the largest of pools and can get pretty crowded. The pool bar was never opened when we were there, but they had no problems bringing drinks out from the restaurant. The reception staff were great, and there are safety deposit boxes. Personally I would pay a little extra for something better - but if your on a budget and don't need the little extras are happy for the basics - it is fine. enjoy yourselves.
