Besakih, and next door at the Griya Santrian, we liked both but would prefer the Griya, as we thought it was better maintained.
We would rather be in the middle of Sanur so you can walk to anywhere you want, where as the Puri is down the southern end, and I expect you would need a taxi to get anywhere, as such suggest you look at a hotel like these two or the Gazebo.
Would recommend the Superior Beach Rooms at the Griya, big, open and clean, also the restaurant is very good and not that expensive, but wouldn't do the prepaid breakfast thing, rather go alar-cart and order what you feel like on the day, some days we just had fruit or toast and Kopi.
Has a nice pool and lots of beach lounges, also the specialist Pizza Restaurant on the other side of the pool is simply brilliant for a light lunch, try the smoked Bali tuna special. {:o)
