May I also suggest if you both enjoy reading that you may like to get a copy of Janet De Neefe,s book Fragrant Rice which she published about 12 months ago. It is a bit like the Book Under the Tuscan Sun being that it is an insight in Life,Traditions,cooking and memories of a person who through family and marriage is assimilated into a new culture.
In Janets book it talks of her family,Guesthouse, life in the viilage of Ubud ,the cooking school etc. Take it along she is more than happy to sign your copy. Enjoy! Toni
