I was told by a friend that it was like a Singapore Mall.
It isn't.

Like a lot of things here, the idea is there and you can tell what they were going for but it doesn't quite make it.
The edges need tidying up, the regular carvings, etc that you see everywhere else are there at higher prices and it is lacks the "WOW" of the huge Singapore or even Jakartan shopping Malls.

Is this a bad thing?

Don't know really.
Disappointing from the (probably selfish) point of view of an expat that thought we might finally have an international standard shopping venue here in Bali.
On the other hand I must admit to physically wincing as I approached it in my car and remembered what that road looked like about 15 years ago.

Summary - you won't get anything there that you can't get anywhere else, and you'll probably pay more for it. If you are homesick for the Mall Experience and can't wait until you get home for your fix then this is the closest you'll get at this time and on this island.
