If you are planning to do the trek up that volcanoe (like so many do) to watch the sunrise (and boil an egg) then take a warm jumper, good walking shoes and layers and layers of clothing.
I don't pretend to be much of a Bali expert and as someone has borrowed my Bali book I can't even recall the name of it. But I do remember was bl**dy freezing and we wore everything we had with us.
If you are just staying around the beach resorts then I would heartily agree with the "NO NO NO..." response.
Unless, that is of course, you want to give some jumpers away.
