but I have never taken them once and never again. They make you feel sick if you drink, you have to take them prior to leaving, while you are there and when you get back, they affect other medication like the female pill and the chances of malaria aren't that great.
If you decide against the pills, make sure you pack the Aeroguard or Rid and wear it every night. We also took mozzie coils over (from Coles/Safeway etc) and lit them on our front porch or if we were sitting at the beach at night.
