Yesterday's vigil was very moving. It brought me to tears when a young woman, Poppy Candralita from the Indonesian Muslim Youth Association gave a prayer. Her pray was haunting, it was as if she was looking through the eyes of everyone person who had been hurt by the Tsunami. Many people gave money and there was feeling of being a close community grieving and wanting to help.
With Motor Mouth, aka Jaws, aka Colleen:-)we then headed off to the hotel with Bob,Mary and Jill. Great to meet up with Linda and to find that she lives close to me. Couldn't help thinking that through the BTF, how great it is to have the opportunity to meet such good people and to form wonderful friendships.
