Hi i returned today on a Air Paradise flight.From start to finish we never had a worry and found Bali to be the busiest that we have seen it in the passed 4 yrs. And I have been there twice a year over that period. The balinese anr very supportive and concerned for the people and events in Aceh and there is lots of appeals,drop off points for donations etc.
I have been to Bali 4 times since the bombings and not once have felt at risk or compromised as towards safety. I am of the thoghts that you have a greater risk of being hit by a car crossing the road,and that when your time is up that it is your fate whereever you are.In saying this it is you who must feel safe and assured regarding these global tradgedies. I always think that whe you travel keep your common sense and insticts alert and that will always help in situations as well.
I think that we are all greatly affected by the recent tragic events and naturally makes us reflect on our own mortality.In saying this perhaps it is now time for your to concentrate on the fun time you have ahead of you and look towards enjoying time with good friends in a very special place.....Cheers Toni
