then you have to take the long haul via the world. we flew last April using FF to Bali got Syd/ Melb to Dep then the same on way back, but could not earn points on Aust Airlines for other tickets. However Aust Air are great to fly with best i have done to Baliin the past years.
Go to Qanats website and you should find easier flights i have just looked and can get 8.40am flights direct from melb on most weeks thoughout year.
