There is only about 3 factories making DVD's for the Bali Market. The recent releases are usually from a camera in the back of the theatre. Once released for a while the quality improves. Most good DVD shops including Helgi will tell you about the quality of the DVD's. The ones to be wary of are the longer movies (Over 2 hours) these are usually compressed and hence on do get some jitter and frame freezing. This is usually toward the end of the movie so the start may be OK but about 10 minutes from the end the problems start. Ask and they probably will tell you about the quality.
