We had a look at the rooms in early November and found them extremely clean and lots of different layouts to suit different budgets etc. Shirley was hoping to have air conditioning in 4 of the rooms close to the water by Christmas - when we saw them they were all fan cooled - some overhead - some pedestal. The ones overlooking the water have fabulous views - they don't have a pool but the Water Garden directly across the road are happy to let you use theres for I think 25000

The 'beach' in front is accessable at all but the highest tide and we found some amazing regrowth coral - mostly staghorn to snorkel on very close in.

Temple Cafe attached to Seaside Cottages is a good place to eat/drink too whether you stay there or not and they had great looking mountain bikes for rent and Shirley is a mine of local info

We stayed at Fajar Candi Dasa a few doors along and enjoyed that too - I did some JBR's when we got back with info - do an archives search (SueK) and you should find them under November 2004

Good Luck with your plans

Sue
