of Lovina - on the road up to the Damai hotel - it's not far out of town. It's the road that runs up to the hills that is almost opposite the markets.
The area is Kayuputih. It's phone is not listed in the restaurant name but under Fritz & Ceria's surname - the wonderful host & hostess/owners of the winery /restaurant ( Sorry I can't think of their surname or phone number the moment)I'll try & contact someone now & see if I can get the phone number for you.
The views are absolutely wonderful here & you have to make sure you get there before sunset. They don't have a menu as such - they serve 1st grade quality steak ( melt in the mouth tender )with salad & chips OR for vegetarians- very yummy fish. They are very generous with their serves & continually ask if you want any more salad or chips bought to the table.I think from memory that the bottles of wine cost 80,000 each.
After you have eaten dinner you get invited to go across the road & downstairs to their winery to have sample of the 11 or 12 different types of fruit wines - they are yummy but warning they build up on you after a few.
You must phone & book before you go because I believe that they don't open everynight.I believe that they will provide transport if you ask. If you are going to Lovina soo & I can't find the phone number for you I suggest to contact Richard or Tini, the owners of Rambutan cottages & they will have the phone number for you.
