We dined at La Lucciola with another couple when we were in Bali during the Christmas/New Year holiday period. It's DEFINITELY worth going for a lunch or dinner, as it offers many interesting and creative choices on the menu, the food is nicely presented, and the wine list is decent and reasonably well priced by Bali and Asian standards.
However, we found the service to be disappointing (to say the least). Though we had a booking confirmed for 8:00PM, when we arrived we were told that we would have to wait for a table, but that we could have a complimentary drink at the bar. It took almost fifteen minutes for these house-choice mocktails to be served, and we also ordered a bottle of wine that took so long to be served we were already seated (ask for an upstairs table if at all possible).
You can't beat La Lucciola's location, but Ku De Ta, The Restaurant at The Legian, and Axiom deliver MUCH better service, and overall, a more enjoyable and memorable dining experience.
Have a GREAT time in Bali, wherever you choose to dine...!
