It may work or it may not,it will depend on whether the phone is "still" locked to the Telstra network.If you bought the phone from them as a pre paid phone it will be locked for a certain period and you cannot unlock without paying a fee,this protects their customer base,however if you have had the phone long enough you can get it unlocked free of charge.Either ring Telstra or try a friends sim card in your phone,it must be with a different network and not be pre paid,if that works your phone should work in bali.
