Just thought that I'd add my two cents.

We are in our second day at the Pelangi Hotel in Seminyak after three absolutely fantatic relaxing days at the Tjampuhan hotel in Ubud. Ubud was just unbelievable - our first visit there in 3 trips to Bali! The entire hotel is build into the side of a gorge, overlooking a beautiful river, surrounded by jungle - privacy at it's very best in the most relaxing environment I've ever been in! Monkey forrest was fun, as was bartering with all of the locals for clothes and paintings.

The Pelangi is just magic! The hotel is on the beach with every mod con you can think of. Looking forward to staying here for the next week! I'll pass on any info if needed.

Went to softcomp DVD centre in Poppies 2 yesterday arvo, and went completely stupid! 10,000 rupiah each - all titles available.

The Sari site was very moving. Not too many Australians around, was great too see so many messages of hope and peace, but also very troubling and worrying to see one message that supported the bali bombers saying "We honour you, do it again". There will always be one in every crowd...

Thanyou to all the JBR's, the restaurant advice is priceless! Have been to Cafe Lotus, Casa Luna, Murnie's Warung, Wayan and Friends and we are going to Hard Rock soon for the best ribs this side of the world!

Cheers,

Joel.
