that the airfare sounds great. If you want an in-room safe then you should go for the Bali Garden Hotel or more stars since most lesser star hotels seem to have the safes at reception - never had a problem with that system.
I would book before hand - just do it direct via the net. It can be difficult getting a good rate over the counter - go figure!I have never had anything stolen from a room but it is good to be careful anyway.
