outside those same group of restaurants you are referring to. We were staying at the Jayakarta (June 04) and having lunch and a balinese guy approached my husband asking him if he wanted some tennis lessons my husband said jokingly he didn't need lessons but he'd play a game with him...at the time it was a bit of a joke between my husband and I as earlier in the day he was trying to get me to play tennis with him but I was too busy enjoying the sunshine by the pool..anyway my husband agreed to meet him at the same place at a certain time the next morning...when he left I said to hubby that seems a little suss to me (more then just the average balinese wanting money to play etc etc) My husband is a 27yo tradesman so certainly not easy prey for any other sort of behaviour but I thought something was a little amiss!! Anyway as it was we ended up having a rather late night on the town and we slept in past the time he was supposed to meet up with the "Tennis Guy" so we never found out what it was all about...but at the time I remember thinking this guy looked like he was upto something .. first thing that came to mind was its probably some sort of gambling & cards circle that you have heard of happening and he would end up having to pay a fortune to get out of my husband laughed it off at the time thinking I was being silly but I knew there just wasn't something quite right about him or the situation!
