Considering the Indonesian Government is the most corrupt Gov. in the region and the fact they've been fighting the Acehnese for decades and hate them with a passion,.... the Acehnese want Independence because although the Aceh is very rich in resources very little of the revenue goes into Aceh,..... mainland Java have been getting the benefit.,... Who about they (Gov) return some of it?,...... just howmuch has Indonesia raised from businesses and Indonesians to help Aceh?????,..... any telethons?????
Indonesia has an atrocious Human right record,... remember East Timor,..... and we're (Australia) still footing the bill for that little Indonesian exercise,..... plus we already give near $400 million a year in Aid to Indonesia which just feeds the corruption,.....
The Australian Government has promised $1 billion is in addition to existing Australian aid to Indonesia, taking the total contribution to $1.8 billion.,... and after the Indonesian corrupt government misappropriate most of it as usual,.. maybe just maybe Aceh will actually get $ 1 billion,....(but doubt it)
Those that believe ALL the Aid money will all go to Aceh are kidding themselves and must also believe in fairies down the back garden.

The military in Indonesia said on Sunday it had killed three rebels who had tried to ambush a convoy of military trucks that were carrying disaster relief supplies.
Meanwhile, liaison officer for the Acehnese community in Australia Nurdin Abdul-Rahman claims the community has received reports that members of the Indonesian military are misappropriating aid in Aceh.
"They took noodles in Lhokseumawe," he said.
"They procured this noodle for themselves and then they sold it to the victims at 200 rupees [for] a pack of instant noodles.
I would hardly think the rebel would steal it other than to give it to those in need,......but Indo soldiers stealing and selling sounds about right.
