This is really how to see Bali in all its glory. 5 days in Ubud well if you really like it this is fine. There is so much to see so you must get out and travel around the area to stay five days. The time to Lovina is about 2 hours of travel except it will take longer as you will want to stop several times to see all the sites in between. Stop at Bedgual and row around the lake and have lunch there. You will most likly stop and see all the monkeys on the road going over the range to Lovina. It is a good trip so take your time. The trip over to Candi Dasa will take quite awhile. It depends on which way you go. If you are going by Bali bus then it will be the shortest way. Some of the other people on this site will tell you the best way to go. We took out time so to look around and went through the middle and it was a long time. There are many places to stop and have another beer or something to eat so have a good time. We like the Rama Candi Dase as it is right on the beach and a good hotel. There are many to chose from.
