Today 12:00 h GMT +1 all Europe stood still for three minutes.
In memory for hundred thousands of victims of the tsunami, it was an incredible sad moment and the solidarity of the entire world in this case is incredible.
Here were I live, the first family was buried yesterday, we are missing still more than 1000 people which are probably dead, as so many other nations too, at least Paul and this family was found and identified.
I know this will not be a great comfort for the members of these families, but at least they know where their loved ones are now and they can have a farewell.
This terrible event should remind us all, that in the next minute life can be over, a song comes to my mind from Sting:
Fragile
If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are
On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are
How fragile we are, how fragile we are
