Does anybody know if it is possible for a tourist visiting Bali to open a bank account? It's just possible that the highest investment returns in coming years will be found in developing countries and it would be a good idea to be in on this! I would like one which can be operated via internet or by mail. Also, what is the level of confidentiality or do the tax authorities report interest earned in Indonesia to one's home country? Likewise, is interest paid gross or tax withheld?
