Where to stay

After the tragic Tsunamis in Phuket we have decided to go to Bali for our honeymoon instead. I have no idea where to start looking in terms of accomodation. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Somewhere nice 4* ish near the beach and shops. Clean modern rooms with a nice pool. Our budget is on the lower side rather than high.
