stayed there 2 and half years ago.
We'd definately stay here again. We spoke to the owner during our stay and he asked what we thought of his hotel? My husband replied, 'really romantic place.' The owner said he'd designed his hotel for that purpose. It showed.
The rooms are much smaller than they look in pics.
There is no restaurant. A very limited menu & what they call a 'restaurant' is the kitchen and a couple of table and chairs outside, or served on little balcony off your room.
No tv. and no telephone in rooms.
The room 'safes' were a timber cabinet with an old fashioned key. We kept valuables in them and they were indeed 'safe.'
The grandiose sounding 'library' is actually a small bookcase in the hallway, but yes, it's a library lol.
Lovely staff.
The hotel was quiet in a nice area.
The pool is small and lovely.
If the bosses car wasn't available for a free trip into Kuta/Seminyak/Legian, they'd call a cab and prepay it for us.
Seminyak restaurants and shops are just a couple minutes by taxi away.
The rooms were very clean, quaint, and we loved them.
Pre going to Bali they were very easy to bargain with via e-mail. The price came down by one third plus they gave us an upgrade.
