Having spent 9 nights at the Nusa Dua Beach Resort, It is sad that we say goodbye to all our old and new friends at the hotel. What lovely people.
Went WWR at Tela Waja (?)Loved it. Shared a raft with 3 Japanese who spoke no English. But that wasno barrier. we had a ball. When we dropped them off at there hotel, they waved to me until we were out of site. How good was that.
I prefer the Agung river for rafting as it is deeper and faster, however the Tela Waga iscleaner and the 4m drop is unreal.
New Year was spent at the hotel doing the Ball room thing. The food was great at the entertainment was non stop.
The rain was consistent but S**t happens. Still got a tan.
Still had my pet hate of people putting towels out at the pool and not actualy swimiing untill late morning, that realy pi**ed me of. One family of 7 (aussies) were the worst.
Went to Jimbaran for the first time for Seafood last night. Great experience. Had Snapper, King Prawns, vegies, rice, bintangs for about 325000. Good value ? Had a great night though.
Back to reality tonight.
I hope that any of us that travelled to the effected areas of the tidal waves are all safe and get back home if they are missing.
Happy New Year
Mr Jeff
