woke up on the second day to a sunny Legain day a bit grumpy after taking 4 hours to get cot and bed fro the kids they thought we all would sleep in the one k/s bed LOL went for a walk to exploer with kids at 6:30 while kylie slept in found the baech couldnt keep the 4 yr out of the water couldnt blame her got back about 8 wife awake had free brekky it was great filled up for a big day out,Went to explore we both decided no buying on the first day just look that lasted all of 15 mins we were asked to braid your girls hair i said no but the wife 20 mtrs behind said yes that was it off she was taken looking very scared being 4 and getting grabed by a stranger and taken away followed her into a shop got the we do nails 10,000 rp ok not a bad price did the wifes as well
by the end we lost 150 au as we had no rp they told my wife the au 50 was the same as 50,000rp and it weas 10,000rp per nail (scammed) finaly got away very pis#^d but you live and learn we got it back a few days later any way more about that later. Back to the hotel to organise the tours with TOUR EAST ASIA ARTANA the guide was great we booked the elephant ride then a day off kintamani,Ubud,Celuk trad dance,bird park healing springs temple then a day off WATER BOM then day off crissy day at the hotel day off then Jimbaren bay Then 2 days off then home.Very well planned i thought considering we had a 4yr and a 15 mth.spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool i went for a few walks found a great quickie mart as we all ended calling it (NK MART THE REAL NAME) waited until 5 to meet the dvd ledgened HELGIE he arrived spoy on 5 pm as promised i had ordered 175 dvds/cds/ps2 games and xbox games was suppossed to be 1,750,000 rp bit he couldnt get 6 so he only charged us 1,500,000 gave us free books to take them home in and wouldnt take a tip!!! what a great guy!
Went out got the magic Bintangs and went to look for a bite to eat and found the Basil Bali warung bloody great food ven better price had some icy cold bintangs with it and headed home for a well earned sleep.Day 2 started with the walk to the beach with me thinking we have to get a pram which we did later that day from Mataharis for 225,000 bargin spent the rest of the day having massages and swimming and just relaxing got back late after a dinner in Kuta put the kids to bed then it was off to find a jacket maker for my bike jacket tried heaps the cheapest was 2,500,000 asked were a shop was as the sign pointed to a brick wall!!! was told to go to Cleos around the corneroff Legian st Gg Melani got it custom made from my pic from home for 600,000 deal they sell in oz for 1,000 min was invited to a party by the owner Danny & eddy if you go tell them i sent you (bruce) and they said they will give you a great deal! hit the bali wiskey not arak home made stuff got home rotten at 2 am wife not happy LOL found bed and crashed ready for the Volcano and dance tour the next day.GOD WE LOVE THIS PLACE 10,000 for a large Bintang 60,000rp for a huge dinner for 4 best deal on the jacket
